In the direction of many years, we said, in fact, that it was an uncomfortable attack, Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant.

I was guilty of actually thinking of him that way, purely as a First player. If to take into account that precedent, the fact that he cut terribly large amount of gear for me-first player, I'd chalk it, it's pointless to content. (Westbrook has the ability to be somewhat piggy with rebounds, but it's much harder to Supplement stats with assists.)

In the direction of his own year MVP, Westbrook was somewhat of me first. It was exciting, but still felt somewhat empty. Everything was done through him.

However, watching Westbrook play in the direction of the last few months, in which he has now cut 10 consecutive triple pairs, the NBA record, it became clear to me: Westbrook is in the best condition when he plays with an unsullied scorer near him.

Now Anthony is gone, Westbrook is simplifying, and George has become a monster, averaging 33 points per game over the last 10 competitions, in that number of game where he scored 47, 45, and 43 points. Thunder is still 9-1 in its own last 10 games and at one point look like another 1 danger in the already deepest Western conference.

With George being more brutal, it reveals everything that the Rumble wants to arrange. Especially with Westbrook.

Westbrook balance exploration
Westbrook each time was quite gifted and at the physical level quite darovit, in order to get a shot. It has the ability to be not every time the best exterior view, but it has the ability to get to your own spaces and finish.

But he is not a supernaturally gifted scorer, like James harden, and often resorts to speed and anger, in order to help him get his own appearance, in contrast to the methodological alignment, which hardens.

It works in environments once in a while, but when the defense is set on Westbrook and invites huge support in defense (as it was in those years subsequently Durant, before George's arrival), Westbrook often beat his own first man, but after that met a sea of bodies that he would happen to navigate. Again, he does not harden, and but he often did the right pass, for example, often Westbrook uncomfortable tried to pull up and force a shot with his hands in the person.

In 2016-17, Westbrook got to the part quite enough to hide it, but last year his free-throw encroachments fell from 10 to 7 games, and eventually his score fell.

In a given year, Westbrook's free-throw encroachments are down again, and his score is down 10 points per game lower than it was just 2 years ago, but he averages the bulk of the assists per game of his own career at 11. And the Roar wins.

This is to some extent the result of this, in fact that George allocates Westbrook more space to work and allows him to act more as a playmaker, but this is still a symptom of the maturation of Westbrook. He learned to beat his own man, then slow down and find the open man. He obeys George when teams attack him and then attack them when they fall asleep. He demonstrates how special a player he has the ability to be.

This is a fresh version of Westbrook that will bring together all the parts of It that we loved. He has the hostility he had with Durant, the capacity to nail down, which he perfected in his time as a team favorite, and now balances that with his ability to pass and allows George to produce the score while he prepares everything else.

In the direction of many years, I thought, in fact, that Westbrook and Durant were awkward. Now, Westbrook has a fresh lead scorer on his own team, and thanks to a combination of maturity, a brand new coach, and a reassessment on my part, I see that he's in the best possible condition when he has a true co-star.
