That put Liverpool three points clear of Chelsea and Watford who both play at 3pm and puts them six points clear of Spurs, who grabbed a late goal through Erik Lamela.

Jurgen Klopp’s side have set the marker with five wins from five and look on course for a proper title challenge on early form.
