In the past, Danville high school football coach has been charged with multiple charges of sodomy, consistent with police and court records.

Thomas Duffy, 69, met with four counts of third-degree sodomy, according to court records. The alleged victim in any of the charges was younger than 16 years of age at the time, according to WKYT reporting to Herald-Leader's partner.

The charges stem from events that supposedly happened in 1982 and 1983, while Duffy worked as a football coach of secondary schools in Dunville, said assistant police boss Danville Glenn Doan.

Duffy coached the Danville high school football team from 1980 to 1987 and led The team to 2 state championship titles. After leaving dunville, He coached the football team at the Highlands High School in Fort Thomas from 1988 to 1993.

Duffy wasn't in police custody by the evening of PN yet..
