Social health officials in Massachusetts have approved the state's third child flu death in a given season.

The state Department of social health approved Tuesday that the last child to die from the flu was a woman from the middlesex neighborhood. Her age and native metropolis were not disclosed.

Previously, the authorities approved, in fact, that 12-year-old boy from Milford and 4-year-old girl from Framingham died from complications associated with the flu.

Last season in Massachusetts, there was 1 childish flu-related death.

Dr. Larry Madoff, Director of the Department of epidemiology and immunization, said that January and February are generally considered to be the height of the influenza season, and vaccination is considered the best defense.

According to estimates of the USA Centers for control and disease prevention, every year in the country happens from 12 000 to 56 000 cases of destruction due to complications of the flu.
