The creation in the sixth season of 50 Cent's Starz show Power was stopped subsequently such as a disaster on the set led to the catastrophic death of a crew member. The Deadline holiday industry website reports that 63-year-old Pedro Jimenez, a long-time production assistant, was hit by a jeep early in the afternoon on the first day of the week (December 10) in Brooklyn as he set up cones for filming. In a statement, Starz network, which broadcasts the show, says: "We are deeply annoyed by the loss of the 1st of our family members of power. "Our thoughts are with Mr. Jimenez's family, because we are working hard to fully understand what actually happened." The creation on the show was halted subsequently by tragedy, and the Jimenez family was informed of his demise immediately afterwards such as he was pronounced dead by the medical authorities at the Brooklyn clinic. Police are investigating the conflict and talked to the driver of the car, who hit Jimenez, who is still believed to have been a member of the crew. Jimenez has been with the series since the first day of manufacture. The drama series, developed by Courtney Kemp and Executive producer Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson, debuted in 2014. Jackson wrote on Instagram about the disaster, saying, " my prayers and compassion are with the whole Jimenez family." Artist Omari Hardwick published a long statement in Instagram, in which he said: "no one team never represents the loss of a friend on the team. Let only similar. "On behalf of all of us here at Power, we send our deepest sympathies to the whole family of Jimenez and to God, we ask that you find our good-natured OLE Pedro warm."
