Austin Marathon affects almost all city roads on Sunday

Austin (KXAN) — the ascension marathon, half marathon and 5K will start at 7am on Sunday at Congress and 2nd Avenue, affecting almost all roads around the town.

A number of roads will be covered before the race. Starting Saturday, the closure will include: Congress Avenue between Cesar Chavez and 11th street, in addition to Riverside Drive between South First Street and Lee Barton Road.
