Johannesburg, Nov 28 (Reuters)-the South African Rand stabilized in front of the dollar in early trading Wednesday, with investors focused on Chinese-American trade dispute and remarks from Federal reserve System of the USA the coming increase in interest rates.

At 0630 GMT the Rand traded at 13.8900 per dollar, near new York closing 13.9125 on Tuesday.

"While Rand hasn't been very unbalanced in the direction of the last few days, the risk environment around is slowly directing Rand to more weak levels,"Botes said.
