DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Making a personal 1st start on the Daytona Int'l Speedway, Christian Ekes earned a pole for Saturday's ARCA Racing Series opener during qualifying on Friday afternoon.

Eckes was in 4 of 6 qualifying groups in order to borrow time during Friday's massive qualifying program on the 2.5-mile Speedway.
