Austin (KXAN) — the ascension marathon, half marathon and 5K will start at 7am on Sunday at Congress and 2nd Avenue, affecting almost all roads around the town.

A number of roads will be covered before the race. Starting Saturday, the closure will include: Congress Avenue between Cesar Chavez and 11th street, in addition to Riverside Drive between South First Street and Lee Barton Road.

Let's say you can't cross the direction. Crossing a marathon with a car is supremely difficult, and goes in the footsteps of ignore. The Austin police Department will only allow crosses at large intersections and only during this time when there are no runners.
